Introducing The ST Forge - A New Podcast From Storytellers Forge

Here at Storytellers Forge we love talking about new games, ours, our friends, or even random ones we discover in old bookstores or currently crowdfunding. We share them with each other, talk about them constantly, and often have indepth conversations about how'd we'd run them, what we like (or don't like) about them, and how they were made and marketed. We already share some of these thoughts and conversations with you here in the blog, but then we thought “why not just record those conversations?” And what better way to share those chats than a podcast.

So without further ado, I'd like to introduce you all to The ST Forge, a new podcast about the tabletop industry's newest RPGs, how we'd run them, if we think you should buy them, and what we think about how they were made.

In this inagural episode Rick and Ian sit down and talk about the upcoming Official Planet of the Apes RPG from Magnetic Press Play. So sit back and listen to us ramble a bit about the game and why we would both pick it up for our collections.

Welcome to The ST Forge, a podcast from Storytellers Forge, a tabletop gaming studio, where we break down the tabletop industry's latest RPGs, why you should (or shouldn't) run them, and our thoughts on how they were made.

In this inaugural episode, studio founder Rick and marketing director Ian discuss Magnetic Press Play's upcoming Planet of the Apes official Roleplaying Game, in its final days on Kickstarter as of recording.

Rick and Ian dig into the quickstart for the game, looking at the art, themes, mechanics, and lore, all inspired by the franchise's first four films and subsequent novels and comic books.

Find out what we think, how we'd run this game, and if we think you should buy it in this 30-ish minute episode!
